Hi, my name is Vicki and I  graduated from the University of Nevada in 1980 and completed a Masters' Degree in Education and Spanish in 1984.  During the 80's I ran the Elementary ESL Intake Center in Reno until I had  two sons (now 19 and 18 years old).  While they were still babies, the family relocated to Tokyo where we spent 6 years.  I then worked for Jacobs' Golf Schools in Arizona and the Catskill Mountains.  (My husband Dave is a golf professional).  We are coming up on our 11th anniversary in Turlock.

I love to travel and have been to 5 of the continents.  I'd really like to visit Africa, but will pass on Antarctica!  I have also lived in Belize and Mexico and have been in nearly every state in America.  My other hobbies are gardening and reading, and I am always glad to have someone recommend a good book to me! 

I have been teaching and advising at KTL since 1997.  My favorite subjects to teach are history and geography.  My favorite subject to study is foreign language and I am currently taking a class in Italian at MJC.  Ciao!
