My name is Kim Mattos and this is my 5th year at KTL. Before coming to KTL I received my BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Child Development from CSU Stanislaus.  I finished my teaching credential at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and then taught 2nd grade in Santa Maria.  I moved back to the Turlock area and began working for KTL. I taught a PE and Movement class to the K-3 students.  Since then I have enjoyed becoming an advisor and a teacher for the B Class and now A Core Class.  I have formed a lasting relationship with my families at KTL in both my classes and those that I advise. I love to see the development of each child and his/her progress in education.  The KTL family, including staff, parents and students, are a wonderful support system who provide students with the love of learning and help them on their way to becoming productive citizens in the future. I would love to help!  In addition to being a teacher, I also have a wonderful family. My husband and I have 2 sons and 1 daughter. We enjoy spending time together as a family and traveling.
