I feel very fortunate to be a math teacher at KTL.  When people find I am a secondary math teacher, they always ask me how I like my job. The first thing I say is, “I have the best students a teacher could ever want.”  The students and families I work with at KTL make my job very rewarding.  The fact that our parents are so involved in their children’s education is what makes our school so special.
     I have always loved math, and I have always wanted to be a teacher.   I graduated from Stanislaus State University with a Liberal Studies degree, and then I went on to earn a multiple subject teaching credential.  When I began working at KTL, I took advantage of working part time and went back to Stanislaus to get a minor in mathematics.  I also took the mathematics subject mater examinations to earn a single subject mathematics teaching credential.
  Working at KTL has allowed me to combine both my passion for math and teaching into one job.  Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, story time at the Library, hiking, reading, quilting, and running.
